Not as good as the deals that BITOG members usually get but I picked up some anyway. Does NAPA have any coupons or promotions to make this an even better deal?

Once a year Napa runs their synthetic oil at $2.99 qt. Last time was Dec. 2016.

Some stores were selling it for $1.99/1t on July 4th. But not many throughout the country.

I don't think NAPA ever has coupons. You can PP/QSUD with coupon for the rest of the year at approx $2.50-$2.75/qt. Valvoline Synpower is often sold on clearance by AutoZone at $2/qt during December each year. I'd rather wait for those opportunities than buy NAPA at $3/qt.

Not sure how much anyone would want (when you think it will be cheaper later on), but if you are buying in bulk, they have a $4 5-gallon bucket that gives you 20% off at least 3 items that are placed in the bucket. So you would save 82 cents a quart for $4, so you'd need to buy at least 5 quarts to break even (and walk away with a bucket). Anything more would be gravy. See the monthly flyer: https://www.napaonline.com/en/promotions/monthly-specials

Thanks, I see the 5 quart jugs in the flyer are $18.99, I think I'll grab some at that price.

NAPA sales on synthetic are usually April, August and December.

Some of the Napa stores are locally owned vs. corporate store. You just have to keep an eye on the store and it's media promotions (FB pages, Pandora radio ads, and the likes ...)

MN/Twin Cities area stores had "grand openings" 2x weekends in a row last month with in house oil specials that were separate from the usual known oil sale dates.
