No, not used... and not some shady "fell out of the van deal."

I'm not selling these, they're on Amazon.

Nankang SP9 Cross-Sport All-Season tires in size 215/55r17 with 98V rating. UTQG is 560AA. This size is also suitable for a car that takes 225/50r17, like my 2010 Fusion.

Amazon currently has these tires for $39.03 each, which by itself is a great deal, but they ALSO have a clippable coupon on the listing for $25.24 .. not on for tires, but EACH tire! This means that, with the coupon, each tire works out to $13.79, or only $55.16 for all four tires (plus tax)!!!

It's Prime, too, so shipping is free.

Yeah, sure, they're Nankang brand, which I know is not a premium brand, but they're good, basic all-season tires, and reviews on them seem to be pretty good everywhere I look, so if you want some CHEAP tires, then this is definitely the way to go!

Keep playing on amazon. They're competing against someone, likely DTD.

sound equivalent to the "Yellow River" tires. My families life is more important than some cheap Chinese blow up tire.

Well, I thought for sure Amazon would kill the deal and cancel the order, but the tires were delivered on Friday afternoon. Sweet!

Just for good measure, I went and gave them a full once-over, and the rubber is in good shape, definitely new tires, and no cracks or missing chunks.

"sound equivalent to"... so, just based off of the name, you've made the determination that they're the same as some junk tire? Amazing.. is your last name "Creskin"?

If you look at the reviews for this tire on Amazin, DTD, etc.. you'll see they're quite good.

... and for the record, these tires are not going on a car that anyone else will be driving. They'll be going on my daily driven Fusion once the current tires have worn out. This car sees 110 miles per day, daily commute to work, with nobody but me in the car. They've got a 50,000 mile warranty, and I'll be happy if I get 45,000 miles out of them, which I don't expect will be a problem.

I hadn't heard of Nanking before, but looking up their Wikipedia entry and other online sources shows them to be a Taiwan based company first set up in the 1950s and now expanding rapidly as a bargain priced tire maker. It looks like it is going to be harder and harder for traditional brands to make the kinds of margins they are used to in the USA. A used car recently came into our extended family with dealer installed Atlas tires. Some may remember this as the Esso/Standard Oil house brand from decades ago. Today it is owned by a huge Chinese rubber company. The tires are surprisingly good and are manufactured at a modern facility in Thailand, just like so many more famous brands are.

Even at $181 shipped it's a good deal. My Camry will come off lease in another 12k miles and will need tires then. I'm going to give the OEM Bridgestones to the tire shop and have them put these on. They'll be plenty good to turn in on the lease, and I may get something for the Bridgestones to cover the tire labor. These are XL rated SUV tires, but I can probably stomach commuting on them for 12k miles over the next year.

Then don't go near any of the big rigs running "Double Coin" or "Sunny" or any other number of Chinese made tires-on the Interstate.
