Looks like they jacked up the price on some tires I was looking at two weeks ago. Which amounts to an extra $48. The price two weeks ago was still a few dollars more than both Sears and Walmart. I'll see if they will do anything.

This is a pretty good sale. The Hankook 724s in 185/75/14 I got this time last year for $100 are now $95-ish. One needs to keep records (as I did) to sort through the rebate double-talk.

I dont have the DT credit card but I think if all the other rebates come through I paid about $27 each for the Coopers CS3's. [censored] of a deal for the beater Honda.

Are Cooper or Hancook having manufacturer rebates available during this sale too?

No to Hankook, yes to Cooper.

Here's a listing of current manufacturer rebates through DTD site, which would be same as DT. And you can check each manufacturer to confirm.

Just ordered a set of CS3's for an S10 215/70R15 for $320 (after tax) -75, -60, -50 so $135 for the set of 4.. Hard to beat. I noticed afterwards that amazon had dropped their prices on a lot of coopers as well. Same tires I got are $51 a piece shipped on amazon before the $50 cooper rebate, so $169 for the set with 2 less rebates to wait for.

^^^^So are you ordered them from DTD? Are you going to have them installed at your local DT?

Yes I ordered from DTD. I generally just carry the tires to my local used tire store for mount and balance. Cheaper than DT and I'm in and out in 20min.

OK. I know there's a DT in your bitog profile town. Your used tire store must be an exceptional place. I've yet to find a local store in this area that matches the service after the sale I receive a local b&m DT stores. In fact just completed a balance and rotation visit this past weekend for some RT43's purchased on Black Friday promos for daughter's Equinox. Wasn't disappointed. And I find their LT balance, rotation, tire warranty service to be very competitive as part of a purchase. One local indy store I did business with prior to DT didn't torque each lug to spec, that's a no go for me.

I asked because when these promo sales come up, I prefer to keep the total transaction with my local DT store. Here at least, they are still matching the DTD price if it's lower/lowest, when total install price considered.

Heard back from them and they will honor the price from a few weeks ago. They see the lower price in their system.

On the CS3, the T rated version gets higher reviews than the H and V rated versions. The rating is a 9.3/10.

The only other Cooper that scores higher is the V rated CS5 at 9.6/10. Amazon has these for $75 each. Which would be a great deal after the manufac. rebate.

Just ordered a second set of Cooper Discoverer SRX's for the other caravan. Called up my local DT store on Saturday and processed the order over the phone. Very happy with my store, earned my business many times over.

The two online rebates have already been submitted cool

I did get in on this just before the rebates died out. Went through befrugal.com to get another $17 back. Netted out to $145 for four new tires for the beater. Even though they are [censored] cooper, I plan on getting rid of that car. I expect to get between 30K and 40K on their supposed 80K tires, so I went with the stiffer rubber.

If you gonna sign up with befrugal, use my referral link and you get extra $10.
