My excuse is old age but I can't remember why I have 6 XG8A's for my Ranger which only gets one oil change a year, if that. Doubt seriously that I'll be doing oil changes, or even have that truck, six years from now, being that I'm 83Yo now! LOL. What other vehicles might this big filter fit? Maybe I can give a few to some local folks. I'm not interested in selling or shipping.

If you click on this link to Fram's site, then click on the section that says "Applications where used" and you can see all the vehicles that it fits:

It also fits most PH16 applications (PH8A is a longer version of it).

Thanks for the above. I've bookmarked it for future ref. After scanning the uses for XG8A is see that its mostly OLD vehicles and I can't think of anyone I know with critters that old. LOL.

Newer Fords, etc. have switched to the smaller 3600/3614 filters.
You could check 'were used' for those.
Same thread. Ford has gone metric on the newest models.

There's no such thing as:
Too big of a battery,
Too large of a gas tank,
or too loud of a horn,
or too bright headlights.

Nope-you would want an XG5, threads on the XG8A are different, they're 3/4", your 6.5 or SB Chevy is 13/16".
