Was checking some things on the internet and came across lubrilon which is something like the original Slick 50. Anyone know anything about this stuff? I have a 6.0 Powerstroke and am very picky about what goes in it. Thanks

My dad used it in our cars back in the early 80s. It is pretty much the same thing as Slick 50. Anecdotally, it did increase the fuel economy he calculated by a couple of MPG, but I wouldn't bother with it. Engines are designed with reduced internal friction and oil is quite a bit better than it was then.

Sounds like a dinosaur. Possibly an appropriate moniker, based on what we've seen from snake oil additives in the past....

If there were a transformer like Glenn Quagmire he would be called Lubrilon.
