Purchased a set of tires and filled out the rebate form online. Rebate was denied. Called, they told me it was still denied. I have receipt, proof of purchase etc. Buyer beware.

What rebate processor was it?

They have to have a reason or it's fraud.

Looks like a few exclusions with the rebate including buying them at Walmart or buying a certain model tire that doesn't have a rebate tied to it. Here's the rebate form:

This is really unfair to the manufacturer. Give us more details on why it was denied.

Where is "the rest of the story"?

If you're sure you fulfilled all the terms and conditions of the rebate, and have proof you did,
then contact your state attorney general and provide all of the proof. If your location is right it
looks like it's Chris Carr, and it also looks like he does not accept email.

Here's what to do:
http://ocp.ga.gov/consumer-services/filing-a-complaint

Put everything together and send it in as directed. They're paid with your taxes and they're supposed to work
for you. Make them do their job. If they're any good, they will go after the tire company.

Michigan Attorney General went after a couple companies for me with good results.

Again, what was Kumho's reason for the denial?
I've had good luck with their rebates.

Still no word from the OP....

I don't understand this. How do you leave out: 1) why did they deny you and 2) what did they tell you when you called?

I'm jumping on the never buying Kumho again as well. Bought the Solus TA71 GT A/S last August and had an alignment done. After 23k and four rotatations, they are noisy. The Yokos, Fuzion and Sumitomo I've had on previous never made any noise. They just wore away quietly.

On topic, my Kumho's had a rebate that I mailed in September and I received my $75 Mastercard in November.
