This is the used ATF analysis on my wife's car when she got it 4 years ago. It did not look good and I was not sure how to proceed. I did not find much information back then, so I decided to share my case.
The fluid was orange-brownish in color - not too bad, so I decided to keep the car and drain-n-refill the ATF. BTW I did not have the service history of the car.
4 years, 40'000 suburb miles and 3 drain-n-refills later the transmission is still fine with no apparent issues
