Anyone received their rebate check yet? I submitted mine almost 2 months ago and nothing. The website indicates they have it and says it'll be 6-8 weeks. Patience is not my virtue.

6-8 weeks is not written in stone. The Fall rebate from last year took a long time for me to get it. It was almost three months before I got it. They were behind according to the chatter here on the forums. Could be behind again.

'almost 2 months ago' sounds like it's still in the 6-8 week window they specify, right? Do you feel Mobil is screwing with you in some way?

Submitted mine electronically about a month ago. When I called to check why the rebate status site had no update... was told to wait for 6-8 weeks for anything to show up there. Meaning payment may be made even later than 8 weeks. Wouldn't be surprised it the rebate took three months between submission and receipt of actual check. Rebate processor may only work through submissions once a month... I don't really know how it works.

I submitted mine March 5. It is showing up on the "Rebate Research" web page now. It took almost six weeks for it to just show up. Since the look of the research web page changed I wonder if Mobil changed fulfillment companies (now Arrowhead Promotion & Fulfillment). Too bad either way because Mobil seemed in the recent past to be "the good guys" with rebates.

I submitted mine a while back as well. Although I know it will eventually come, I think I'm done with the rebates as tempting as they are. I took advantage of the recent Valvoline coupons that are available to use at Walmart and stocked up.

If I weren't buying Mobil 1 already I wouldn't mess with rebates. I gave up on buying things BECAUSE of available rebates a long time ago. Mobil's submission process is super easy and they used to process quickly. The first time I got the rebate in three weeks. The second time it took twice as long. This time I'm just about at eight weeks and still haven't received it. It's probably best for me to submit it and forget about it since I'm already using the oil exclusively. It can leave a bad taste in the mouth, though, when you think well of the company and they contract with a poor rebate fulfillment company. It's a total racket.

My last Mobil rebate in 2016 took 12 weeks. And that's only because at week 10 I called up to find out why I had gotten one check and not the other. It seems they "misplaced" the other rebate though it was listed on their site. I got the check 2 weeks later. SOPUS has been the fastest rebate sender by far for much of the past year. But, I don't mind waiting 10 weeks or 20 long as I do get it.

Took about three weeks to receive Mobil rebate for five quart jug from Walmart. You will eventually receive rebate if you filled at form smile completely.

On more than one occasion (although I don't recall which companies this has been), I have found that the site told me nothing about it being approved, until I actually received the rebate in the mail. I think its often a matter of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

Sometimes I wonder if the extra cash I get, is worth all the times I'm checking to see my rebate status. I'm suspecting I might be better off just buying Napa synthetic when its on sale...
