Walmart in my area still stocks T1 30.

They have removed most all 10W-40 except in Castrol GTX, SuperTech, and one or two others. No 10W-40 in Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil, or Valvoline.

1. Google is your friend. Shell has a list of stores that carry T1. Tractor Supply stocks it. It's available for order.
Detroit Diesel 2-strokes require it and cannot use multi grade. Since there are a lot of these engines still in service*,
it should be available for a long time to come.

*Applications include gensets, marine, and motorhomes as well as some older trucks and construction equipment.
Around here a lot of the shrimpers still run a 6-71. Motorhomes use 6V92, 8V71, and 8V92s. Old Bluebird, Prevost, and Newmar
all used them.

There are about a bazillion buses that are still running with Detroit 2-strokes. T1 and Delo 100 are the go-to oils for a LOT of these operators. That oil ain't goin anywhere soon. Just gotta find the store that stocks it.

Fleet operators buy by the drum or truck load ...

Auto Zone has T1 SAE 30, currently on sale for $14.99/gallon. The CF-2 oils seem to be getting a little harder to find, but any decent size oil distributor should have them-the Screamin' Demons are still around, mainly in GM buses & some older truck chassis.

I had the same thing happen, it's odd, right?

Acceptable high detergent substitutes: Delo and Delvac, in that order.
