My Dad raced an Anglia gasser back in the 60s.
I was in high school and we had a lot of fun going all over Texas on weekends.
 
I used to run a D Gas (12.5# / cu in) 64 Valiant back in the day (1968). Tuned slant 6 225 (RG Iron block), milled hyper-pak pistons, and a slightly milder cam with a TQ-Flite and a 170 converter, Hyper-Pak 2-3 cast iron headers. 3.91, 8.75" Mopar Posi rear narrowed to Valiant spring width. Ran 13's in the high 90's and drove it on the street
