Post your latest oil change

2015 Nissan Versa Note 45051, AMSOIL SS 5W-30 with EA15K12, Napa Gold air and cabin filters, tires rotated.
This was bought from Hertz/via Shift at 44019. No maintenance logs but Carfax showed a couple of visits. Hertx certified came with a 12000 mile powertrain warrantty (but Nissan's is good to 60K). $8550+fees.
At the next tire rotation/50000, considering replacing CVT fluid.

2015 Nissan Sentra, ~29000 miles on engine, 4900 miles on oil
Out: Valvoline Synpower 0W-20, Microgard filter
In: Mobil 1 0W-20, Nissan filter

Also had tires rotated and I replaced air filter & cabin filter at this interval.

2009 Altima 2.5
Supertech HM 5W30, Fram XG6607
drain plug 25 ft lbs and a new crush washer

2005 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 343,764 miles
Mobil Delvac 15W40, Baldwin BT7349
drain plug 35 ft lbs

2001 Toyota Celica GT
114,490 miles
5k on oil/filter

Out: Royal Purple HPS 5w-20/Fram Ultra XG4967
In: Pennzoil Platinum 5w-30 (API SM, not PurePlus)/Fram Ultra XG4967

It didnt seem to like the HPS very much. Lots of engine noise at colder temps and it consumed oil for the first time and never had before. Went back to the 5w-30 this time around.

2006 Opel Vectra 1.9 16v CDTI, 191000 km.

Out: Urania FE LS 5W30 ACEA E6, 2K on oil, used for cleaning. CLEAN brand filter.

In: Valvoline Synpower MST 5w40 ACEA C3. CLEAN brand filter.

2016 Nissan Murano

First service: Free dealer service

Out: factory fill oem filter
In: Nissan synthetic oil 0w20, OEM filter.
mileage: 4543

I`m very surprised they didn`t use Bulk 5w30 dino...

12 Chrysler Town and Country. Out Pennzoil 0w40, and Napa Silver cartridge. In Pennzoil 0w40, and STP cartridge. Love a less than 20 dollar change with full synthetic for less than 20 bucks in a 7 quart sump. Splurged on a magnetic Gold Plug to celebrate.
Side bar, if this oil keeps pistons 25% cleaner than the leading synthetic, why isn't it the leading synthetic? What the heck?

My local Nissan dealer is pretty good about giving customers 0w-20 oil if they ask for it. They did my first free dealer service with Mobil 1 just because I asked for 0w-20 when I brought it in.

2010 toytota FJ cruiser trail teams.
33k miles.
Out Mobil 1 0w20 AFE
In mobil 1 0w20 AFE brought in to the toyota dealer
Why change a thing if it's working once a year?

I guess that was a bonus for me. I didn`t ask for it, but we are repeat Nissan customers at this dealership.
I`ve never really researched Nissan brand synthetic oil.

IIRC when you look up that claim, it says something like this...
Quote:
*Does not apply to Pennzoil Ultra 0W-40 or Pennzoil Ultra Euro.

Oh, there it is in the picture- "Based on ASTM Sequence IIIG piston deposit test using SAE 5W-30."
Marketing at its finest when they're able to advertise the 0w-40 based on the performance characteristics of the 5w-30. They put this front and center on a bottle that specifically does NOT fulfill that claim.
