Crash testing on small SUV's, incredible. In fact I'd like to see a new category added to BITOG, "Automotive Safety".
A lady here at work was involved in a head on collision while driving her 2017 Mazda CX-3. The other vehicle was a late model Cadillac Escalade, maybe 10 years old. The Cadillac driver ran a red light and hit the Mazda head on. The lady in the CX-3 was unhurt, was checked out in the ER and released. My wife and I picked her up and drove her home. The Cadillac driver went to the ER in an ambulance. We checked on the Cadillac driver in the ER and she was not out of surgery, yet but we were told her injuries were not life threatening and she was expected to have a complete recovery. It also appears that she will be charged with a DUI.
I think it's fair to say this little SUV saved our friend's life.
