This is what an overnight soak in Evapo-Rust does.

Yup it's a life saver for anyone who does restoration on old cars or motorcycles. I've reused it until it looks like black paint and I usually toss it because it smells, not because it has stopped working.

Perhaps if it was wiped onto a table surface. The stuff I have has been sitting in a bucket for a little over a month. If it's evaporating, it's not noticeable.. yet at least.

Evapo-Rust has become a rifle shooter's Manna from Heaven to rusted bores of blackpowder muzzleloaders, left too long unattended without cleanings.

Now only if the makers of this product could create Evapo-Pits, because all those formerly rusted blackpowder barrels still has pitting in them.

Ospho is different- it is phosphoric acid while the ER contains no acid (no idea what is in it). The usage is different also- things need to soak in ER while they don't is Ospho.
