Suzuki 16510-07J00 off a 2005 S50 on a 2800 mile run over 12 months with OEM suzuki oil. This looked different from other filters of the same part number, but it was really really super heavy duty. Can was extremely thick; I wasn't sure I'd be able to cut it open. Everything about this filter was stout. Highly recommended!

Puro Classic L14612 off a 2008 Altima on a 4100 mile run with VWB. Exactly what you'd expect from a filter included on a $18 oil change special. Thin can, no tears in the media or nitrile valve, really rough broaching on the inlet holes. What I'd call a very generic oil filter.

reviving an old thread but saw a review on Amazon of the 16510-07J00 cut open and it basically looks like a Fram orange can of death now, anyone care to confirm this?
