How does this filter measure up.

Those Hyundai filters look solid and I like the even pleat spacing....Mobis seems to have much better Qaulity Control than some others who make wavy junk....I think I read that they favor flow over filtration.

I posted the Hyundai emblem after the first Hyundai guess. I never really seen the inside of one, casing is heavy also.

hyundai doesn't make the filters though. I've seen a few with Mann+Hummel on them

They look pretty solid. Though 'if' it matters to you, not noted for being particularly efficient, ~99%@50um.

I'll say this though, if this was an M&H Puro filter, likely would have already been thrashed for that excess potting/(glue) in the dome endcap. Not that it likely makes a difference in function imo. Just sayin.

So Mobis makes all of these? Or some M&H? Mahle makes the H/K OEM cartridges in S Korea.
