Thank you for mentioning this. My father and uncles all served during WWII. One uncle was wounded twice during the Pacific island campaign, Tarawa and Iwo Jima. What I find particularly galling is that a lot of the millenial generation have absolutely no clue to the sacrifices, and history, of that time.
