new castrol edge high mileage synthetic

saw castrol edge high mileage synthetic yesterday any info on this oil yet? at walmart it was $22 for 5 quarts the specs seem ok

I'm running it in my BMW right now. Edge HM 10w-40 is the only HM grade I could find that still carries ACEA A3/B4 spec.

Probably trying to compete with Pennzoil Platinum HM and M1HM. I would use it with confidence.

Why no A3/B3 oils like M1 HM 10w40?

Why no A3/B3 oils like M1 HM 10w40?

A3/B4 has a beefier add pack and has stricter wear and cleaning requirements.

I was looking for an HM oil that is still fairly close in performance to an LL-01 oil, and the LL-01 spec is baselined on ACEA A3/B4 spec.
