Looking to buy a good garden hose reel. The ones I've had all seem to develop leaks at the rotating seal. Is there one out there that is better than the rest? Or is the leak a common problem with all of them?

I use a stand. Lasts for years and doesn't break.

Something to look into.

I have bought a few over the years and they leak or rust or break and do not hold enough hose.

Every now and then they have a sale. I think I got mine for ~$200.

Don't let the China part throw you..... I wasn't happy about that, but this is very well made.

I bought 2 plastic reels from Costco in 1997, both are working good after almost 20 years. I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it, probably about $20-30 each.
