There are lots of farmers and fleet owners in my area that think they are getting Diesel Supreme
and are not. It appears that this 50+ish cetane fuel was from a unique sweet crude that they had
the ability to crack. Normal Diesel 2 is 40 - 45 cetane before any additives-

Any of you run into this ?

how would you know?

I thought it was like gas?

Where everyone gets the same base out of a pipeline
then their own specific additives.

And take regular diesel and add soem Diesel Kleen and push the cetane up 4-5 points plus add cleaners and a pump/injector lubricant at the same time. I use it in both my diesel cars and can tell a clear difference between straight pump diesel and pump diesel with Diesel Kleen. Faster starts, smoother idle and better mileage.

I am told that the sweet stock they used for this product was only cracked at the Lima Ohio
facility and that Husky continued it for a while after they bought the refinery from BP.

To know for sure you would have to ask these specifics of the persons doing the work, and the BP jobbers that hauled it for years
