Had some used GM Synchromesh F/M, used for two weeks in my Honda before changing to Pentosin, So about 3L and half litre of Amsoil MTF which I was going to use originally- any issues you think?

I have used Pennzoil syncromesh (which is said to be very thin)
in my 84 Toyota pick up for several years, and love it.

Well, it's in already- if it doesn't like it....it'll be an expensive trans flush. Using Severe Gear 75-90 in everything else on the truck. On a side note- for manual hubs- what is the best grease to repack?

I strongly suspect come next winter you will want to change it out because:

1) It doesn't have any friction modifiers for the synchro's,

2) It is thicker than a dedicated MTF.

3) It is a differential lube, not an MT lube.

Clarification, Severe Gear being used in diff's and transfercase only- not trans. Have Amsoil MTF in stock if the Synchromesh isn't up to it. I'm not a big Amsoil fan, but it is locally available.
