Mazda FL22 Equivalent?

Hey guys,

Looking for a Mazda FL22 equivalent. The coolant is a little low and just looking for something to top it up at oil changes. Is Zerex Asian (available at Walmart I'm seeing) compatible with the "dark green" Mazda coolant?

Yes, it is. Also Motorcraft specialty green is the same exact product, if you want to go OEM. Personally, I use Zerex Asian in my Fusion (which uses the specialty green), and my Kia, which also uses a silicate and borate free phosphate coolant.

Pep boys carries it under the OEM brand https://www.pepboys.com/product/details/879918/00055/ equivalent to 2 gallons of fl22. I got some last fall for $13 So I'd wait for a sale.

Can you use Zerex Asian 50/50 to top off or to drain and fill a cooling system with it's orignal fill of Mazda FL22 55/45? Or would it only be advisable when doing a full flush?

Mazda FL22 is $24.95/gallon at the dealership here. Fyi.
