They told me 3,000 miles (unfortunately not kidding), but it should be good for your mfr. recommended OCI. Not 15K like an Ultra & (allegedly) the new Purolator Boss.

The only filter I would consider buying at Walmart is the Fram Ultra, and that's it. Fram has that filter in a sweet spot right now. I think the Fram Tough Guard is over priced for what it is, so I would not buy it either not when I can buy a NAPA Gold/Wix for 23 cents more.
