Amsoil OE vs Pennzoil Platinum

Amsoil OE uses a group III basestock. PP uses GTL which is also classified by Pennzoil As a group III basestock.
This is BITOG and many here worship PP and Sopus so most of them will tell you to use PP.
Personally I would choose Amsoil OE. In reality you cannot go wrong with either.

XL/OE use the same stock I believe. The difference is in the Add-Pack. XL is more "stout"

Both are good, both use group III base stocks.
Choose for yourself...based on these VOA's I'd say either would be just fine for recommended OCI's

Can't go wrong with either. Pennzoil Platinum and Ultra both currently have rebates going on.

Just like the Schaeffer Oil that I use! Except, Amsoil doesn't deliver it to me for no shipping charge like Schaeffer does. Best of both worlds. I don't have to go get the oil, and it is delivered to me free of shipping charge.

Given the choice of OE or PP. PP for me.
Given the shipping cost, if I am going to buy Amsoil products, then I am going to get the top of the line lubricants. The rest I can get as goo or better at Walmart.
At this point I only order ATF, SVG and 4-Stroke small engine.
