I've heard this full synthetic oil boasts quite a large amount of moly, somewhere around 1000 ppm. Is this a good buy including shipping for 12 quarts at $71? This oil would be replacing my M1 EP when it comes time. Lastly, anyone have a VOA of this oil? Thoughts and opinions please!

I assume this is going to be used in your CR-V?

If yes, why use this oil? Mobil 1 EP is a fantastic oil. Until the end of the month you can get $12 off a 5 quart jug from Mobil oil, and you can pick it up at any local Walmart. I think the rebate can be used two times per household.

Stick with M1 EP.

The Honda dealer where I have my 2012 CRV serviced uses 0W-20 oil made by Idemitsu.

It isn't Honda Genuine, then. Honda PCMO's are made by Philips.

It is genuine Honda Oil, it says so on the label. I'm in Asia, not North America

Mazda's version has a lot of moly, but the Idemitsu-branded one doesn't.

I don't know why lawman thought it had 1,000 ppm (???) Only racing oils have that much, in fact Redline may be 800 ppm I think, but short of 1k ppm.
