Nephew bought a 2005 Jeep Wrangler (TJ model) w/ the 6 speed tranny. The owners manual calls for:
Quote:
Mopar Manual Transmission Lubricant or equivalent (meeting the requirements
of DaimlerChrysler Material Standard MS-9224)

Can you guys recommend a lubricant so he's not stuck using the Mopar lube?

The NV3550 5 spd in my liberty liked PZ Synchromesh. 6spd might be a different animal though.

Amsoil states that their Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W-30 works in Jeep manual transmissions.
