Yes-Bassist Chris Squire Dead at 67

Chris Squire, the co-founder and longtime bassist of prog rock icons Yes and the only member of the group to feature on every studio album, has passed away just over a month after revealing that he was suffering from a rare form of leukemia. Squire was 67.

I was just listening to my copy of Yes' 1969 debut lp yesterday.

Oh no. Last time I saw Yes, both he and Steve Howe did not look all that great. That's so sad. One of my favorite bands.

'Seen all Good People' just rocks, so does 'Owner of a Lonely Heart".

Oh this very much sucks. I passed by an opportunity to see them here last year. RIP Chris. One of the very best.


One of their best songs from the 80's IMO...

Chris Squire has been an inspiration for many a bass player, including myself. A truly exceptional talent.

My favorite albums are Relayer and Close to the Edge.
