the gold flows 9-11 GPM.
the more expensive platium flows 7-9 GPM
both same size
does the plat have thicker media?

Usually synthetic media is thick yes,the gold is standard cellulose and much thinner and not as dense.

OTOH WIX(napa)'s web info is known to be inaccurate and they change it often it seems.

just add an XP after the premium filter #. XP + Premium filters ate priced lower on-line, although the XP is almost TWICE the cost of the Premium, buy enough for free shipping on some sites

Surprisingly enough, I have only seen XP versions for the HD (semi truck) applications. Might be a coincidence, but its just an observation.

The first XP ive seen in person was about 1.5 feet long.
