Quality looks amazing, wonder who the OEM is...... Tokyo Roki. Their history can be found here.

My dealer sourced OEM RX8 filter was obviously Champion built.
That one looks different.....

Looks good. Unique looking bypass. Tokyo Roki, made in Japan or US? Don't see the adbv, nitrile or silicone?
Wondering if HF circulars as backdrop is new trend. j/k
Thanks for the pics.
Edit, skip the adbv question, just found another posted here saying SkyActive doesn't spec one.

Wow.. that's a great looking filter!! I agree with KCJeep - regardless of efficiency , I'd run them as well. Thanks for the cut and post. $21.42 for three with oil drain plug washers http://tinyurl.com/pwlg5t6

.....I agree with KCJeep - regardless of efficiency , I'd run them as well. Interesting. If similar/close to other Asian OEM's it would put them in the ~50%(Toyota)-65% (Honda)@20um range. And the Mitsubishi OEM filter tested similarly on the Evo board test using river_rats method which has been shown reliable. Apparently looks are important. This must mean there's hope for the Wix XP.

This must mean there's hope for the Wix XP. That Wix XP certainly finishes in first place in the beauty contest....
