This filter was used on a 2011 Elantra Touring SE (2.0L engine) for four months and 3,650 miles using Mobil Super 5w-30.

Media was tight and clean with no problems. My only objection was the small amount of rust on the base plate.

The rust looks to be outside the O-ring, so was probably rusted after installation on the vehicle.

Looks very good. How much does the dealer charge you for an OEM filter?

35503-26300 = 9203 NOT 3650

I almost forgot about that Yinzer sense of humor.

I paid $5.50 each at Oscaro. BTW the total OCI time was 8 months, but the car was in storage for 4 months over the winter.

35503-26300 would be the Hyundai/Kia part number for the OEM filter.

These OEM filters are my favorite, but they're pretty pricey unless you buy them in bulk (gets down to $6/filter).
I personally would trust them up to 10K miles, definitely can handle the 7,500 mile OEM OCI.

40 for $100 sounds like counterfeits.
