Looks like it has a very rich additive package, so probably not suitable for any modern diesel engine with DPF. For all other applications it should be fine.

Thanks Quattro Pete.
Thing is this is new fuel economy 150kkm drain oil specific for new Iveco HD engines.I really didn't know what to read from this numbers.TBN looks very high and it has low pour point.
And this only API CF is a bit odd for a high end oil.Maybe bcs it isn't sold in NA?

I dunno.
This is a fully synthetic oil, but it carries no spark ignition rating.
This doesn't mean that the oil would be harmful, only that we have no information as to what gas engine specs it might meet.
It's intended for diesels and you don't have any.
This appears to be a recommended oil for various diesel applications in Europe.
Why not sell or trade it to someone who has an engine for which this oil's specs and certs are appropriate?

Pretty sure the 1.9 Multijet in his Fiat is a diesel engine. However, I'm also pretty sure Fiat calls for a different diesel spec than what this particular oil lists.

Not really odd. As I mentioned, it's just targeted for older diesels. They're allowed to have higher sulfated ash content than what modern diesel engines require.

We've got oils like this in NA, too.

This is HDO, this is why it doesn't carrie gas spec's.But it is 150kkm drain oil so it has to be good. And can't really sell Iveco specific oil to anyone in 5w30 grade when all older trucks are rated 10w40.

Heh... OK. smile

Do you know the details behind this IVECO 18-1804 CLASSE TFE specification? Maybe this new Iveco euro 6 engine does not have a DPF, and hence such heavily additized oil is OK for it.

I have no intention to use this oil in Multijet or wife's Punto.Only in old Escort. So summa summarum: this is a high ash, strong pack oil suitable for older petrol and diesel engines.

You're right.
It looks like a neat little car that Fiat should offer here as a competitor to the TDI VWs.

From what i can find only odd is drain interval of 150kkm.,and usual stuff like increased economy and so.

How did you happen to come by this oil?
It would have to be fairly costly anywhere in the EU.
Someone within a reasonable distance of you could surely use an oil meeting the certs this one carries.

Yes Selenia and Urania oils are very costly but are considered to be among the best. This oil was a gift from old friend of mine, some leftover let's say.And you are right,Fiat should bring some more serious cars to NA then 500.A second series Croma 200hp diesel would work great there.
