401cc 13.5hp Kawasaki

2014 Single cylinder, 4 stroke: is on new EZ Go golf cart. EZ Go manual calls for 607454 oil filter (maybe cross references to Kawasaki 49065-2078 or 49065-7010). Anyone know of a Mobil or another good oil filter cross reference? Also thought about putting M1 10W-30 EP at first oil change. It is 4 stroke, air cooled, and is governed down pretty good with its CVT. Oil and filter thoughts for coastal SC?

Thats a very common filter. I'm getting a Mobil M1-103 oil filter for that application if you want to use a Mobil filter. But realistically, you can use a $3 Driveworks or Purolator L14476 and change it once a year and be perfectly fine. Or the Fram TG4386/TG4967, which has a silicone anti-drainback valve and is a solid value.

Fram XG4967 at your local WM along with your preferred 10w-30. I'd probably get a gallon of Rotella T5.
