Not really. It doesn't meet any of the Euro specs that M1 0w-40 meets, and with a Noack of 13%, it really can't.

PU 5w-40 is a direct M1 0w-40 competitor. It meets pretty much the same specs.

As much as I love PU I think I would rather have Mobil 1 0W40 than SRT 0w40 but maybe I can be swayed in the future. I for one would not avoid Walmart when you compare $25 a jug to $10 a quart it's worth the long line.

Don't buy oil at AZ for the regular price.

Wait for a "Buy 5qt get a filter" sale, and the package deal is competitive with Wal-Mart. In fact, sometimes it is better. Sometimes for $33 I would get Castrol black edge with a K&N oil filter. For $36, I could get Castrol gold edge and a K&N oil filter.

Autozone might have such a sale in the future that includes Pennzoil Ultra. In that case, I think they would charge $36 for the package deal.
