Amsoil applications guide says with filter it's 4.4
Start with 4 quarts and re check after idle and sitting for a few.
You can almost always under fill and idle it below minimum enough time to check the level. I've heard enough stories about people only getting two quarts out of a pan to know it's not going to starve it unless you're abusing it.
Sorry, disregard my post. I thought this was discussing the Corolla motor oil capacity.
For atf just replace equal amounts of what you drain. Get a graduated measuring bucket or cup and if it's hot when you drain it replace a fraction less because you can always re check and top off.
