Got 5 Qts. Super S 5W-30 Synthetic Blend and Purolator Classic Filter for $10.99. I don't know how long sale is going on. Never heard of Super S but it has SN Rating. It is Made in USA.

kmart actually has some ok sales at times, PP was $25 a jug few weeks ago and they always give coupons when buy stuff. I used a 15% off purchase when bought 3 jugs, making way better deal than wally world. and pure1 filters were $3.5 last time I was there but low stock so only got 1.
had qsgb n puro classic sale around Thanksgiving for $12.99 IIRC

Yes it has: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubb..._filter_sale_2/

I noticed that the tags on the shelf said that the price was for Spectrum brand and the price was good thru 2/22 which is Saturday. I got 10 quarts of 5W30 for $1.70 each (great price for a SN rated synthetic blend oil) and the last P1 in my size for $3.50. I'll check back Saturday and see if they still have the sale price up as some people say the sale ends 2/17.

I went by today, and grabbed 12 qts. at $1.70/qt. They had the Pure One for the wife's Sentra for $3.50, so I got one of those, too.

Loaded up with 18 quarts.

Already did one OCI. Oil works perfectly fine....no issues.

Plus, it's got a really cool label on the bottle!

I read about this here last night after the Kmarts had closed. I stopped by today and can confirm what's been said above - that the sale goes through Saturday the 22nd.

I picked up 10 quarts of 5w20 and 3 quarts of 5w30 (all they had). I'll check a few more stores before the sale is up.

Thanks for the heads up!

8.50 for the 5qt jug and 1.70 for the 1qt bottles here. Too bad they didn't price the 5qt jug a little cheaper than the individual quart bottles. I got 6 quarts and picked up the last L14610 in stock that was priced at 2.49.

I wonder what percent of it is synthetic?

Looking at their PDS, a NOACK of 14.3 for 10W30 synthetic blend isn't too impressive.

I just got back from K-Mart w/5 qt jug 10-40,5 qt jug 5-30,5 qts 5-20,5 qts 10-30,purolator classic filters 2@ 2bucks and 4 @1.50.I now have filters and oil for all 4 of my family vehicles. For 51 bucks, not too bad.I think that would be a savings of around 20 bucks a vehicle if I had a shop do it.(name brand filter and semi-synth oil)

I just wish I had more money in my budget to stock up.

Congratulations on your score!

Last month I finally used my last jug from the Kmart gallon clearance bonanza that went down a couple of years ago. It sure was fun scoring all that oil for ultra cheap! The downside is then you have all that oil, and something new comes along you want to try and you can't justify buying it. Having had quite a stash for a while, I've been whittling it down. My goal is to get back to shopping for the next OCI while I'm still running the last one, I honestly think it will be more fun that way. Being 4 or 5 OCI's ahead for a single vehicle gets boring!

I'm still dwindling mine down. I've exhausted the VWB, now on to VML and few gallons of QS and PYB.

Kmart is really awesome at times.

I got $10 in points on no minimum purchase this month out of the blue. I got a 5qt jug of Maxlife 10w30 for about $13 with tax with the $10 credit. That's cheaper than you can EVER get that kind of oil.

I need to return the (unused) PureOne filter I bought full price though. With the tears happening in them, I don't trust them now.

Well the cheapest would be free oil like G-oil, QSUD, Nextgen or even better would be making money after a rebate. But those were the old days, haven't seen free oil in a while now.
