Me and my bro serviced my car before Xmas and I just remembered I had this photo on my phone:

80k mile Corolla 1ZZFE on what appears to be its original spark plugs (mostly main dealer serviced)

Nope, just el cheapo factory spec/fit Denso.

Old spark plugs working fine evne before they were pulled, car has always had no problems with emmisions/power/economy.

My first thought was that Eminem joined BITOG!

Mom had a jeep that lost all power. When I pulled out the plugs the good ones looked like your pic. I found one plug that was missing the center electrode! How it idled smoothly I have no idea--at one point I had two plug wires pulled off, and it idled with no change! Not until I pulled a third wire did it falter. 2.8L V6, a gutless wonder but apparently it wasn't picky about plugs.
