Ignore those readings. The test was performed before there was a lot of thought/debate on the test conditions.

The way Bob (THE oil guy) did the test was to turn an oil pum faster until he reached 40 psi up stream of the filter. He then looked at the pressure "drop" as it went into the static engine (the load).

If, however, he had just turn up the oil pump until he had 40 (or whatever) downstream into the static load ..you would then see the pressure elevation over the SAME FLOW. The way it was you cannot compare one filter with another since they have 40 applied ..not ALL having a flow that produced a 40 psi downstream pressure.
 
Another thing is that while the tensioner is hydralic it has a alot of spring pressure built into it. This prevents the wipping mentioned inthe above post at start up. If you ever get wipping you can bet that the tensioner needs to be replaced along with the guides.
