I can get one for like $15, vs $30-60 for name-brand aftermarket, or $100 for a dealer OEM part.

uh you can get oem coils on ebay. so your post needs at least a link to the item in question

Your car probably has high quality OEM coils from Hitachi or Denso so stick with the genuine stuff only.

I had a friend who got a good deal on an ignition coil pack on eBay. He had a 12V VR6, and replacement coil packs are insanely expensive at stores, even for a mysterious discount brand.

There is a little of everything on EBAY. I have found some Mopar stuff on EBAY, someone must have ordered something he did not need or a vehicle is getting old and the dealer is cutting back on the number of parts for that year. Then there is a lot of junk. I got 4 Blistein shocks for my Jeep on EBAY.
