Add Stabil to old gas?

I have read other places to add Stabil to old gas after storing a car for a long time to get it to run. I am sure it makes to gas last longer but is there anything in Stabil to reclaim old gas?

My guess is no.

NO , old gas is just that .

That said how old is it and what type of car ? If it smells like paint it's really old .

This is just not true. PRI-G may do a great job stabilizing gas but no chemical can bring back old gas. I asked Chevron tech support this very question a few years ago. Short of re-refining gas, nothing can help. So I just avoid anything PRI-G.

I believe adding a double dose of StaBil can stabilize it for a longer period of time, but its all got to be done at the start.

stabil 360 is great for ethanol fuels especially when they sit for along time

I just wrote word for word what the PRI-G literature said.
They are claiming that it will refresh old fuel.
Let the lawsuits begin.

I see they make a product called Start Your Engines. Listed for small engines though.
