Best promo of the year from Bridgestone, effective Jan 3-20, also includes 15% off any service. I'm buying a new set of S-04 summers and storing 'til spring. This is a real deal.

what is the catch?

Probably requires you to get alignment and years of rotations...

Catch seems to be you have to go to or call a store for pricing. By then you're halfway committed.

Not doubting the OP, just wondering how a customer would go about confirming that they are paying $1 above the store cost. Have some kind of invoice to show the buyer? Interesting promotion concept though.

No catch. Take a Tire Rack price list in with you and see.

There is no other obligation. Rotations are free for the life of the tires. And I like their lifetime alignment program--pay 2X first time then get an alignment every time you rotate your tires. They're hard to beat really. Plus, since it's a national chain, if you have a problem while traveling, you can get road hazard coverage just about anywhere. Sure, they'll try to sell you other stuff while your there but whadda ya expect? It ain't an org.

you can see the tire price if you go to the website I just did on my phone. I think the catch is the tires are really expensive, and they didn't have very much selection for my car. mavis tires where I live has much better prices.

Just bought rubber myself, won't need any for awhile. $250 for the set, $50 to put on. $20 rotations at wal mart.

Discriminating about oil but not tires?

Are you allowed to buy them carry-out and mount them yourself (for those of us with tire changers at home)??

What makes you think zerosoma is not discriminating about tires?

After discount and rebate I just paid DTD $306 for a set of 225X60X16 CS4s delivered to the door and then $57 for mounting and balancing.

This is just a guess but, I'm going to assume it's a poke at Firestone quality.

Just tell 'em you'll mount 'em next month but money's tight etc. Leave out the part about "elsewhere".

Yeah... What? Don't know how I stirred Indy's pot but I did plenty of research before buying. Great tires btw, put them on yesterday.

LOL, it doesn't take much...what do you get for $60 per tire from WM?

FWIW last time they had this I checked out the prices and they were still not that cheap, its prob $20 off the "normal price". BTW Tire Rack's prices aren't the best out there either. At least in SoCal I personally know 3 shops that list cheaper than Tire Rack's price every time and this doesn't include what Tire Rack costs to ship.
