wow, good showing for the amsoil XL
was the mileage based on the OLM to 0% ?

Oil life was showing 15%
What's the deal with copper?
Nice! I've always liked the XL oils, especially the reformulation from a couple of years ago. What kind of driving is this car seeing? Such as percentage city/hwy?
Driver drives about 100 miles a day avg. I'd say probably 75-80% hwy

I think the copper is a bit high and not sure I agree that copper levels do not track with usage.
Copper is going to come from an oil cooler (doubt it has one) or a bushing. I think both would track with usage.

I think less than 1 ppm of copper per 1K is not anything to worry about at all. My wife's Honda will show 7-9 ppm of Cu at 7-8K miles.

Pablo I thought the same thing. 11 ppm doesn't sound like much but I'm no expert. I thought almost 12,000 miles on the oil with more TBN left was pretty awesome considering this is the xl line
Wow, almost 12k mi and still showing 15% on the OLM! Your driving must be really easy on oil, IIRC this car's OLM is still calibrated for conventional/blend, not synthetic.
Still, 2.7tbn and 7.9 cSt is very impressive. Looks like a good report, though I wonder where the copper is coming from in a K24.
