There was no magnet inside the factory diff cover and there also was not one in the replacement one.
Replacing the tranny fluid will be harder to do since the car does not have a dipstick that comes up into the engine compartment. There supposedly is a small one located on the passenger side of the tranny and the refilling procedure for this transmission was kind of complicated if I remember correctly from reading online. I also have no way of getting the car up in the air so that it is level so that fluid level could be checked correctly. I would probably have to take it somewhere to get it done.
The engine oil capacity is 8 quarts. I'm not sure on the tranny.
