2011 V6 Camaro Oil Recommendations

2011 Camaro, V6, 23K miles
My cousins daughter bought this car today. It has no owners manual, but the dealer said he would "try" to find one for her.
According to the interweb it states the required oil must be DEXOS approved 5W30. Any opinions on this and oil suggestions, please? And, the oil filter also. Thanx.

QSUD and a Pure one or Fram Ultra filter, done.

Pennzoil synthetic blend 5w-30.Been using it for a while.Good price too at walmart.

Pretty much any brand DEXOS rated oil in the correct weight is going to be fabulous.

Dexos 1 is the new GM oil spec which is either a semi or full synthetic .

My cousins ex wife took it upon herself to call Jiffy Lube for an OCI price; $91.98 total!

He told her she BETTER not bring it there!

He is going to change it using Castrol GTX SynBlend and a FRAM TG8765 filter.

At that price, I'd recommend changing the oil filter every other time...

Easy, pick one with Dexos approval in the 30w. Pretty simple.

It's a tough spec, and a fine oil no matter which one you pick.
