An aquaintance suggested/recommended AutoRX to me.
I've never seen much help in any kind of additives that I've used. Haven't used many because of being skeptical about wild claims that have been made.
My truck has 52,000 miles on it. 2005 F150 4.6l.
I followed the directions. Today, after the rinse phase, I poured some oil onto a piece of cardboard. Sure enough, there were those small flecks of sludge/whatever. When touched they would disentigrate.
Who would've thought that a relatively new truck would have that junk in it already?
Have now converted to my first fill of Amsoil.
Am anxious to see how it does.
I plan to install my bypass system in the next few weeks, once I get some hoses made up for it.
