Same thing here on the front diff, looks like I could have gone past the Blackstone OCI recommendation of 40K. Will probably push front & rear up to 50K.

Sounds reasonable, but why not live dangerously and go 80K......easy to say when it's not my vehicle.
grin2
I've got about 82K on Amsoil ATF on my Taurus and am looking forward to seeing the pan and filters when I change it out.

Hello

I have a Fronter 2.0i petrol and in my differentials i have Castrol Axle EPX 80W-90 and in manual gear box and transfer box i have engine oil (GM 10w40)..I need something for winter stuff in my gearboxes and i want to know if the Amsoil SVG 75w90 is really worth the double price..Also for differentials i need an opinion..If i go with Amsoil is a big investment..
I am from Europe and the price for 950ml bottle is around 22$..This makes it very expensive for my pockets..I found this site but is AMsoil seller so i am skeptical big time...

http://www.acehioil.com/gear_oil_test.htm

I do light to medium offroad, climbing hills and get dirty in mud...
Pls advice..

SVG is well more capable than these "short" OCIs.

Run it out!

The act of preventative maintenance, in and of itself, is FAR MORE important than brand/grade/base choices among lubes and filters.
- under maintaining something is akin to abuse/neglect; that can kill equipment by shortening the lifespan
- over maintaining something has never been proven to be anything but a waste of time and money
