I've been looking for #8 or 7.5 shotgun Ammo. None to be found around here! I went and called every place within 60 miles and the only thing I found was #6,00 and slugs! I did buy the last 100 pack of 20 guage Ammo @ WM hoping to trade it someday.

time for a tin foil hat?

People are in full swing hoarding mode right now due to the situation at hand.

Those tin hat guys are having a ball right now lol.

Number 6 is very good for smaller rabbits, most birds... You should grab it and cut one open... The pellets you'll probably find would even suit some mild skeet shooting. Buy it if you can lay your hands on it.

You want trade bait? Grab the 00! And some slugs!

You guys have the right to go into full-on hoarding. This is the wildest dream of any future oppressive government to have an unarmed citizenry.

And this is coming from a Canadian.

Manufacturers are loving the panic....somebody is going to profit, and its them.

Assuming that something bad happened here in the USA it's worth having. Could trade for 12 guage or food, toilet paper etc.

I totally agree here. I'd be buying up as much as I could as well!

I actully nabbed 10 boxes of #6 but it was a little expensive to use for playing around. I'm pretty sure that the 6 would ruin somebody's day.

I've read several times that the grabbers want all primers to be made to degrade with time, so when the ban the ammo laws are in place nobody will be loading their own because the primers won't work. I don't know what to make of it all, but nothing the socialist left would try would be a surprise.

I was at Turner's in Pasadena the other day. Any stuff that uses mostly copper, tin, zinc and lead is almost sold out. Part of the issue is this hoarding due to the Sandy Hook atrocity, but a lot is really due to China's modernization; they need these metals for electrification and are willing to pay what it takes to get them.

But there was some 12 gauge ammo with soft iron shot, #7, for only about $10.00 a box so I got two boxes for a soon-to-be fun trip in the Mojave Desert. This stuff is made almost totally from iron, plastic, and the bases are aluminum. The Chinese are not running short of those materials yet.

We have shelves and shelves and shelves of shotgun ammo.

Handgun ammo on the other hand - well, you're lucky if you can find a box a week. Of course, this IS pheasant country.

Relatively plenty of 12 and 20 gauge here. Often times that's the ONLY thing you can find.

Supplies are down though. It's not uncommon to see the cheapest ($5) boxes cleaned out at Wal-Mart. I bought 12 gauge not too long ago though and have seen it in the last week.

I'm still mostly concerned about my 9mm ammo. All I found last week were overpriced Zero brand reloads. They are obviously reloads...as in it appears the cases were collected from a crack house driveway after being run over.
