2-stroke oils.
I've been using Dominator exclusively, besides the tank full of unknown garbage the dealer filled it with, in my 50cc, air-cooled, oil injected scooter (Kymco Super 9). The scoot has a Leo Vince pipe, carb re-jetted to suit, and some CVT modifications. This has worked superbly for 2780 miles. I'm on my second sparkplug, the original fouled shut at about 1800 miles.
I ride this thing to work most of the time, about 13 miles one way on surface streets at about 40-45 MPH with a couple small hills. The throttle is either pinned wide open, or closed, not much in between.
I'll be due for another quart in a few weeks, and entertained the notion of trying Interceptor, but it seems that that is marketed toward engines with exhaust power valves and there is nothing like that on the mighty Kymco. I'm inclined to stick with what has been working, but always wonder if there may be a better choice.
Thoughts?
