hi,

i'm new here,i ended here thanks to google, i was looking for the right oil for my car.

I have a 99' civic d16 (95,000 miles, 5 speed manual) ,i bought this car 1 month ago as my daily driver, the car is a gas saver but it is very SLOW. Because of that i floor the gas pedal alot. I want the car to last, so i need a good oil, that can handle the abuse.
Which oil do you guys recommend for a car that is going to be constantly beaten up?....

Thanks.

Honestly, any 5w30.
That engine will run forever on anything, and it's fairly common practice. Just do timing belt changes and you're good.

This being said I recommend any top tier oil.. Pennz, QS, Valvoline, etc.
