Citgo SuperGard synthetic blend

I literally just stumbled upon the above mentioned oil in 5w-20,5w-30, and 10w-30 for $6.76 a gallon, or a $1.69 a quart.

It is API SN, does anyone have any experience using this lube?

Oh and I also bought 6 cases of the stuff.

Part of the reason for the price is Citgo has a 3 dollar per gallon rebate that expires today, and the retailer had it marked down 18.5%. Looks like maybe they don't want to stock it anymore I don't know, but at that price the cars I service are going to love the stuff.

Its made in the USA per the bottle. PQIA did a voa on it. Seems like a solid conventional oil. Has a high does of calcium with a shot of moly in it. The oil now comes in a new more stylish bottle than the PQIA test bottle but both are SN.

Some people knock it because of Citgo's association with Hugo Chavez.
