Does anyone knwo where I can find this info from? I'm about to purchase a car 2,000 kms away, and would liek to purchase some oil and I dont' have the owners manual handy.

oil capacity is just under 5 quarts with filter. will most likely take 4.5 with filter. most i have done take no more than 4.6 on the oil gun.

The Amsoil website has capacities for any fluid in any vehicle. Very handy. For auto transmissions it tells pan vs total. In some cases you may need to know the model# of the trans. or diff.

+1 on this with my 2011 Kia Optima 2.0T (same engines as Hyundai). 5qt jug came right up to the full mark on the dipstick.

5.00 - 4.80 = 2/10 and reduces down to 1/5 of a quart.
