Petro-Canada's Tactrol Additive. What does it do?

Well the title pretty much says it all. I always wondered exactly what the Tactrol does, as it seems that the 94 Octane P-Can gas contrains the most of this additive.

And how would this compare to Shell's Optimax blend?

I'd ask about Sunoco, but they don't service Montreal.

Thanks Ken,

It's not Tactrol Specific, but I'm learning tons as I'm reading it.

At least now I know that the deposit on my spark plugs are most likely MMT's.
